Redneck Medicine

This is what Aaron refers to as "redneck medicine." Ashton has severe eczema and he's taken to scratching the skin off of his feet causing them to bleed. It's sad and disgusting and we don't know what to do - so one solution is duct-taping his shoes and pants together so he can't scratch. Sad I know! Luckily it doesn't bug Ashton. So until we can find something better....

Catching up

Colten is now trying to walk - he even practices on his own. He'll stand up next to something and just take a few steps til he falls down, he then claps for himself! It's so cute. He also waves good bye and good night. He's such a joy to have and the best tempered child ever. I just pray our next one takes after him.

Ashton is so full of it lately. I can't believe the things he comes up with. Good luck telling this kid 'no', he has a solution for any problem with which he's encountered. He is very curious and absorbs everything he learns! It's so fun to watch him learn and grow. I'm excited for him to go to pre-school in the fall, I think he will do really well.

Fam Time

My sister and her family came to Utah for a visit this last week, it was so fun to see how grown up my niece CC has gotten. She says a lot of things now including Ashy and Colty - and "hi buddy." Colten absolutely adored her and would get so excited every time she would say hi to him!

Tooth Tales

Ash had his first dental appointment the other day - he was soooo good. He even sat nicely while I had my teeth cleaned! He was cute - he was even allowed to squirt me with the special squirt gun. He got to pick a new tooth brush and being the creature of habit that he is he picked the exact same tooth brush he has at home. The dentist said he has very good teeth and takes excellent care of them - or he just has both Aaron and my good genetics :).

Lil' Biker

Aaron borrowed this bike from the neighbor to try - of course Ashton loved it! We've decided that this kid is super spoiled! He's done so many things in his little life that most kids wish they could do.
