Happy 6th!

Today is our 6th anniversary! I've learned so much from Aaron and I can't even begin to imagine my life with out him. We've had an especially challenging year with the birth of our two youngest kids and the loss of Aaron's mom - I'm grateful for the support we give to each other and the growth we've had in our relationship. I love you babe - here's to eternity!

Ashton says 2

Anna "Ashton quit bugging cc"
Ashton "Jackmans don't quit!"
At least he was listening.

Ashton says

At cabelas waiting in the car for Aaron to pick up stuff he ordered.
Ashton "mom, maybe dad's sad cause nobody likes him."
Me "why would you say that - I like dad."
Ashton "cause when he opens the door for everyone they go in the other door."

At church during singing time Ashton got to choose a primary song to sing he asked if they could sing "lion king, can you play that one?"

Pioneer Days

It was a very mellow day this year. Aaron is out of town and so I took the kiddos to watch the parade with my parents and brother (his wife was working). We didn't even get tickets to the rodeo... kind of sad, but we'll pick back up the traditions next year when life isn't quite so crazy!

Ha ha I've got you now!

Ash trapped.

The Greats

I took Reagan to meet her Great Grandma Briggs and Great Aunt Tracy today. I enjoyed visiting and showing her off (of course). I heard some fun stories about when Janin was younger and it will be fun to relate them to Reagan someday... especially that her grandma got "married" to the neighbor boy Curtis at 14 with a kiss to seal the deal and everything!

3 Weeks

The many faces of Reagan...

Aunt Carly and I took the kids down to Gateway to play in the fountains the other day. Colten didn't want anything to do with it and it took Ashton a while to warm up - but he ended up running through and getting Carly soaked!

Our First Sunday

Well we only had to spend a few hours alone (it's nice to ease into it) this first Sunday but I realize what I will be juggling with three kids. I feel sad for Colten mostly, he's so little and I have to try to appease him and Reagan at the same time- a new born baby crying tends to come first at the moment. Then Ashton actually told his uncle that we love Colten and Reagan now and we don't love him anymore... oh the joys! I know we're just adjusting and everything is going to be just fine.

4th of July Fun

We had our families over for the 4th including my Grandma and cousins. She came into to town to be here when Reagan was born on her birthday! We had a lot of fun hanging out and playing games. The food wasn't half bad either!

While the girls sleep...

Our families and Aaron have been so good to help out with the boys while I recover from the c-section and get used to being up at night. They've gotten to spend the night at Aunt Claar's and Gram & Papa's house, go to the Raptors game, see Ice Age and go fishing. We are well loved and spoiled!
