Zoo

We went to the Zoo yesterday with my family. Ashton of course had his favorite buddy to do everything with - Uncle Scott. He loved to see all the animals but he was terrified of the alligators!

Fishing

We took the boys up to the lake to go fishing with Uncle Scott. Ashton had a lot of fun, especially when he leaned to far over the side of the boat...dad caught him by one leg as he dipped his head in the lake! Our friends the Holbrooks came up to see us too, their little girl is such a doll! It was good to see them and catch up.

Barn Dance

Our ward had a barn dance recently and boy did Ashton ham it up! We've been doing the Hokey Pokey and the chicken dance ever since. It was all his idea to wear shorts and boots by the way.

Who said “I love you” first? He did, as I was getting into my car in his sister's driveway.

Who sings better? No contest, he does, I can't even carry a tune

Who is smarter? Hmmm, I think we are pretty evenly matched

Whose temper is worse? Mine, he is surprisingly patient

Who does the laundry? We both do, he's great at helping out with everything

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do, he has to be by the door

Who drives when you are together? He does, he can't stand it when i drive

Who is more stubborn? probably me

Who kissed who first? He kissed me... and to surprise those of you who knew us in high school we didn't kiss until after our missions

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Him, I said I was more stubborn right?

Whose parents do you see the most? Mine, cause I go over there a lot when Aaron is on duty - but we see his mom at least once a week.

Who proposed? He did. He made me think he was breaking up with me (after two weeks I know - I said it was complicated) and I started to walk away, when he didn't follow I turned around and he was on his knee...

Who is more sensitive? I am, but I am married to Aaron

Who has more friends? He's more social and has lots of casual friends where I have fewer more deeply connected friends.

Who has more siblings? Our families are exactly the same

Who wears the pants in the family? I think we are pretty equal. We decided things together for the most part.

Stomp

So my cute husband decided to surprise me with a date night to dinner and Stomp tickets on Wednesday! It was so fun to go out and be together! My bro and his girlfriend Carly came along - which is always a good time. Just wanted to say thanks and I love you babe!
