What a sad Halloween at our house! Ashton got sick on Wednesday night and had a terrible day on Thursday so we couldn't go to my mom's annual party. Then on Friday the rest of us got it and we were up all night puking...so no trick or treating on Saturday. Poor Ashton keeps asking when the party is going to be - he's in denial that we missed it all. Well I couldn't let it go completely so I dressed Reagan up in her costume to at least take her picture. Then we finally carved our pumpkins and roasted the seeds. I guess I will have to really make up for it next year!

My grandparents stopped in to meet Reagan on their way to their winter home last week. It was nice to visit. They brought old family movies of my mom and her sisters - it was hysterical to watch! My mom hasn't changed a bit (I'm talking since she was 9)... I guess that's what keeps her young! My Grammie also brought me a book about one of my pioneer ancestors on my mom's side - I'm very interested in finding out more about their history.

The family got together for our annual Halloween party and to remember Aaron's mom's birthday. I "borrowed" most of these pics from Aaron's cousin's blog... but as you can see we had fun. We didn't end up cooking our traditional chili until too late to actually eat it- we were too caught up in conversation - I think it was worth it!
