Hunting with Dad

This time of the year usually means I see Aaron in passing as he heads back and forth from the mountain, but this year started off with a bang. He filled two of his three tags in 2 days!  

Ashton got to go up with Aaron after he got his elk cow to break camp and bring the llamas home. They planned on target practice and sleeping in the tent.

Little did they know they would get Aaron's buck. Ashton thought it was really exciting- I was nervous for him, he's so sensitive to animals, but he was ok with the whole thing. He played angry birds while Aaron cleaned it- in case you were worried he had to watch that part :). 

Swimmers

The kids did very well in swim lessons this year!  They all passed their levels (except they don't want Reagan moving on cause sh'es too short). It doesn't hurt that their Aunt, whose taught for years, hits the water park with them every week. 

Signed Up

Our friend just opened her very own dance studio just in time for RJ to start dance lessons! We're so excited - she has new leotards, ballet shoes and a special bag!

Weber County Fair

The kids were excited to rock climb to support search and rescue - 

Golden Spike

Our friends invited us to go out to the Golden Spike park for the re-enactment of the last spike going in to connect the railroad from the east to the west.  It was really cool. They have real steam and coal engines they drive around on the tracks. My kids thought they were awesome and really loud!

Reagan even knew "the red one is a girl and the black one is a boy, I know it."  

Jackson Hole

We've been married 10 years!  To celebrate we decided to take our first trip alone together since our honeymoon and head on up to Jackson. I rented a canvas tent to go glamping at Lynn Canyon Ranch in Victor ID.

We ate our meals in Jackson at some of the yummiest restaurants. Next time you're up that way may I recommend The Gun Barrel steak house, Cafe Genevieve and The Merry Piglets Mexican Grill. 

On Friday we hit both the Teton and Yellowstone national parks. 

On Saturday we went through 4 different National Forests. Stopping to fish. 

The entire trip was gorgeous and relaxing. I'm so glad I chose Aaron 10 years ago.  We complement each other so well and I fall for him more each day. Love you babe, happy anniversary. 

Preschool graduation!

Colten had his preschool graduation today! We're so excited for him to move on to kindergarten in August. 

Farm Day

It was farmers day at the farmers market in Ogden. The kids each got to ride a horse, climb on huge tractors and pet all kinds of animals, including a 14 hour old calf.  It was really fun.

It was fun. Colten told me what moves to make. He beat Ashton.  But ash was sly enough to set me up and take my queen.
