The Standard ExaminerThe firemen, Captain Shawn Netz, Theron Wiliams, Justin Archibald, Kent Stanford, Cory Townsend and Aaron Jackman, have been working on their entry for about a month.
"It's a ladder truck, so it's got an 8-foot ladder, and it extends another 8 feet beyond that," said Jackman. "Now we're wiring it for lights and sirens."
Building the firetruck turned out to be a team-building activity.
"It's actually been great for the crew," said Jackman. "We've had a lot of fun."
