A Change of Pace

Well we are officially under contract to sell our house and to buy a new one.  After a year of waiting I'm so excited to finally be here!  I'm glad that it happened now though, it gave Ash time to make friends at school so that when we do move he'll have that constant.  I know he's going to miss his friends from here a lot.  He's already been asking about play-dates, and how far we're going to live away from this friend and that one.
If all goes well we should close on the 16th of December.  I'm also feeling overwhelmed with all the to-dos to be ready to move.  As much as I love change it takes me a bit to prepare mentally/emotionally for it so I'm glad to have a month to be ready.  We will miss our neighborhood and ward, the only place I've ever lived this long was in Rose Park, so I feel like we established some roots being here 6 years.  I'll also miss sharing a ward house with my best friend - it's pretty awesome that we ended up living so close... we'll just have to have more lunch dates!

Congratulations on finding a buyer! Seems like that's hard to do these days! How exciting that you're options are open and change is in the air!

Congrats!!! How exciting for you all! Take it from me, the person who just moved 600 miles only to move back another 600 miles all in 3 months, that it is a lot of work!!! BUT, it's so worth it!! Especially being able to get rid of things that you won't need once you move...it's a good cleanse. Can't wait to find out where you are moving to!
Good luck :) Hope it all goes well.

No way! That's so exciting. I know you guys have been wanting this for a while. Looks like a great place. We're trying to make it up to Utah this Christmas, so if we can work it out we'll have to swing by, check it out, and help you guys unpack! Congrats!
