We went to the doctor for the boys' wellness checks today. Ashton is in the 50% at 31 lbs and 37.5 in. Colten is in the 60% at 15.2 lbs and 16.7 in. I was right to worry about his flat head though, the doctor has referred us to Primary Childrens to have a cranial-plastic surgeon look at it and see if he needs a helmet. There is a chance that they will tell us to wait a couple of months and see if it won't get better but our dr. felt that it was severe. Please keep him in your prayers so that he won't have to wear one.

Crap. that sucks. I will keep him in my prayers...
Oh, I am so sorry. I had no idea there was even a concern! He looks just about perfect to me. :) I will be thinking about you and I will definitely pray for him! Let us know how everything turns out.
His head looks perfect to me what is wrong with it? My friend had a little girl who had to wear a helmet because her soft spot wasn't growing together normally but she was just fine after a few months with the helmet. I hope he is okay.
So sorry to hear about your little ones head. Emily (Smedley) Evershed's boy, Will, had a similar problem and he had to wear a helmet. You should contact her to see who she went to and what she thought about the whole experience. I hope everything turns out okay.
My brother had a large head...he had some fluid removed and then he grew into it. He's a cocky teenager now :)
My 3 year old daughter isn't even on the scale. She is less than 0 % weiging only 24 lbs at age 3 1/2.
There are extremes on all ends of the spectrum. Your boys seem to be sitting happily in the middle :)
