Barbara A. ReidBarbara A. Reid, 66, of Arlington, WA passed away September 19, 2008 in Everett, WA. She was born to Mennis and Allie Smith July 25, 1942 in Buffalo Baxter, AK. Barbara graduated from Yakima High School in Yakima, WA. She worked many years as an assistant denturist, but her most favorite job was selling jewelry. She enjoyed playing basketball, baseball and volleyball in her younger years. Later, she enjoyed doing ceramics and crafts. Barbara had a strong faith in God and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her greatest joy was her family, being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceding her in death were her parents; and brother, Nolan Smith. Surviving Barbara is the love of her life, husband for 27 years, Ronald Reid of Arlington; daughter, Tamie (David) Pearson with grandchildren, Danielle, Joshua and Corey; step-children, Susan (Gary) Grimnes, Stuart (Laura) Reid, Scott (Tiffany) Reid, Shari (Dale) Brown with 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise (Wayne) Leedhom, Delores (Lowell) Shelton, Nina (Jesse) Anderson with numerous nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 25, 2008, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, SR530 and Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington, WA.
