My grandma passed away yesterday due to complications after surgery. I'm so grateful that we got to go her traditional Labor Day picnic last year, it was always a favorite of mine as a kid. They did three legged and potato sac races. They also put out a big hay stack and hid money and candy in it for the kids to find. I loved that she had a pink bathroom and ceramic pigs. She also loved jewelry and she always had beautiful rings on her fingers. We will miss her and I'm really sad for my grandpa who has survived her but I know that they will be together again after this life. My grandparents were sealed when I was on my mission, and we viewed it as a great blessing! I'm so grateful for the plan of salvation and the temple.
